Asin Maintains Distance With Salman

Currently busy shooting LONDON DREAMS Asin denies the report of being overtly friendly with co-actor Salman Khan.

And yeah, contrary to reports, no exchange of gifts happened on the sets! There was buzz that Salman Khan gifted a glamorous glass doll as a belated Onam gift to Asin. We recently bumped into Asin and asked her about her 'good friendship' with Sallu.

She simply laughed and said, ''I don't know how to react to it because it's absolutely false. I have not got any gifts from Salman. In fact I read that he gave me a gift on Onam and I gave him a return gift on Eid...

Raaz The Mystery Continues : Movie Review

If you don’t end up chuckling at some of the so-called spooky sequences, there is a chance that you might find Raaz - The Mystery Continues scary.

Now, what do you say of a horror film that besides sending a chill down your firm spine at few moments also ends up tickling it without intending to. This Mohit Suri -directed film is both scary and funny. Scary because it is, at its base, a collage of corroded clichés from popular horror movies that have been watched to their death. Clichés like a pair of hands emerging from the bottom of a bathtub to spook its sexy bather. Or lamps and lanterns going off before the ghost makes its presence. Or the grotesque faces in the mirror. Clichéd they may be, they are still potent in pumping your adrenaline and giving you some goose flesh.

Chandni Chowk To China : Movie Review

Here’s a chop-suey with desi tadka. Karate with some dhobi patak wrestling. But this cocktail called Chandni Chowk To China turns out to be utter mess.

Akshay Kumar can no longer be the saviour of no-brainer comedies that have become a sort of excuse for many directors to hide their incompetence behind. Making a good no-brainer requires brains. It requires a script in which humour is so potent that even if the story stretches beyond the point of its credibility, the gags still flow out of the situations in the plot, however implausible they may be. That is certainly not the case with ‘Chandni Chowk To China’, which is like an over-stewed chop-suey with burnt tadka.

Bollywood And Hollywood :When The Twain Meets

Never before has such a meeting of two of the biggest film industries happened as it is now.

An acclaimed British director, along with a select crew of technicians, packs his bags and flies to Mumbai to make a film about a slum boy’s inspiring journey from rags to riches in search of love. A Mexican actress crosses two continents to shoot in a city that just witnessed terror attacks a little over a month back. Choreographers, action experts, cinematographers – the list is long – from the world over have descended on Apun Ka Bollywood, and our film industry – often derided for its naach and gaana – is finally finding global acceptance that was long due Forget about Bollywood discovering distant shores, the mountain is coming to meet Mohammad himself.
